Laneh.co Home textile and decoration from Iran Laneh’s handmade pieces are made in limited batches and carry the unique touch of the individual maker whose love and pride can be seen in every stitch.
This series of nine portraits captures the unique character and dignity of the Dogon people of Mali, a community where history and identity are passed down through oral tradition and ritual. By focusing on expressive, studio-style portraits, I aimed to honor their individuality and provide a glimpse into a culture preserved without written records, from generation to generation.
